We are currently looking to hire an AR/AP Associate for a temp to perm assignment.
  • Pay: The pay rate is $16-$17 per hour
  • Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (Vinings)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift
  • Qualifications
    • Problem solving skills is a MUST!
    • Must be flexible to switch from AR to AP at any point
    • Must be comfortable with high volume
    • Must be detail oriented, have time management skills, not be afraid to ask questions and can follow clearly written instructions
  • Interview Structure:
    • 1 Onsite Interview
    • Meet with hiring manager and 2 leads within the department
    • Facilitated case study (candidate will be shown step by step how to work in our system, manager will be there to answer any questions and walk through)

Position Description:


The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for accurately processing fuel-related invoices. This individual ensures all invoices are handled in a timely manner. The Associate works closely with other internal departments to ensure that fuel vendors receive accurate payments on schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Accurately key, process, and pay fuel invoices within pre-determined time allotments
  • Confirm fuel deliveries billed by vendors with BOLs imported in to Allegro
  • Research and identify any discrepancies of price, gallon, vendors, or other issues
  • Research and resolve unmatched invoices
  • Match payments to corresponding invoices and post to ensure payments to vendors
  • Obtain necessary paperwork from RSMs, Energy Dispatch, or the carrier needed to request credits and re-bills from vendors
  • Balance deferred tax drafts on a monthly basis to ensure that the correct tax is being reconciled
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed

Work Experience/ Education: (Required work experience and education / preferred experience and education that is beneficial to the role. Work experience can include management experience or any functional expertise where proficiency is necessary to be successful in the role)
  • High School Diploma required
  • Associates degree preferred or 3 years accounting experience
  • 0-3 years accounting experience; preferably retail experience
  • MS Office Suite experience, particularly Excel
